Economic Research and Development

The Economic Research Development Division (ERD) is responsible for developing, conducting and coordinating ongoing economic research activities related to the Iron and Steel industry.

ERD aims to produce high quality research and study papers in the Iron and Steel Industry and reliable resources for decision makers at the strategic level from the Government for policy making and Industry for business decisions.  In addition, MSI also collects and monitors important data for the Iron and Steel industry from the Government and Industry in developing a comprehensive database of the iron and steel industry.
